Description
Inside a pink aluminum box (36 × 32 × 34 in.), roughly the size of a curled-up body, a woman moves. Born out of grief and loss, this sculpture, installation, and performance by San Francisco multimedia artist Alex Nichols, made with sound artists Kevin Corcoran and Jorge Bachmann, addresses the constraints that society, culture, race, and gender place on individuals.
