This archive grows through the work people share. If you know of, have created, organized, or participated in a creative project, event, talk, or organization that engages with climate, ecology, or environmental change in California, we’d love to include it.
The archive is open to everyone: artists, students, educators, researchers, museums, environmental organizations, individuals and community groups across the state. Projects can be finished or ongoing, permanent or ephemeral, large or small. Film, performance, curriculum, research, community initiatives, and public actions are as welcome as more traditional art forms.
What to expect. The form asks for basic details about your submission, one to three images or a link to video or audio, and some keywords that help connect your work to related projects, places, and themes. Fill in what you can; not every field is required.
Your information and rights. You can contribute anonymously, and your contact details will only be published with your consent. You decide who can see the work and how it may be used. If you’re unsure about rights, or if Indigenous cultural protocols apply, just say so. Our team will follow up with you before publishing anything.
Every submission is reviewed by our team, and we may reach out with questions. Thank you for helping build this record of California’s creative response to climate and environmental change.
Submit 1–3 representative images that showcase this work. You may also submit a video or audio file by including a hosted link (ex: YouTube, Vimeo, SoundCloud).
