Description
-
A video by Suné Woods made after her 2024 visit to Coquí, on Colombia’s Gulf of Tribugá, where she observed humpback whale biopsies alongside marine ecologist Dr. Natalia Botero-Acosta. Centering the Afro-Colombian and Indigenous knowledge of the region, the work asks what it means to learn from other species. Shown in Weather and the Whale at the Institute of the Arts and Sciences, UC Santa Cruz.
