Artworks & Creative Projects
A group of performers in elaborate red, orange, and black costumes gathers in a wooded clearing for a ceremonial performance. Several wear flame-shaped headpieces and flowing garments, while one person in a silver outfit kneels in the foreground, releasing a cloud of white smoke. Another performer, wearing a cowboy hat, reads from a red booklet as the group participates in the ritual.
Events, Exhibitions & Public Programs
A group of students and researchers works collaboratively around laboratory tables in a university research studio. Participants examine materials and small objects using magnifying lamps and specialized equipment, while others discuss projects. Shelves of supplies, tools, and workstations fill the brightly lit space.
Labs, Research Centers & Initiatives
A person with short, swept-back blond hair speaks into a microphone while gesturing with one hand. Wearing a dark jacket and scarf, the speaker is shown in profile against a softly illuminated projection screen in a dimly lit presentation space.
Talks & Presentations
A great circle of blue netting hangs on a deep teal wall, a wide eye stitched into it in pale thread, its lines trailing out like a reaching arm. Below, on a wooden shipping pallet, a heap of pale ceramic teeth lies scattered like a jaw let go. Beyond, a doorway marked “NION McEVOY GALLERY” opens onto a blue ocean map, and on the wall to the right, white lines trace the coasts of the Americas, labeled “GULF OF TRIBUGA” and “Colombia.”
